State Backs Proposed SJ Ethanol Plant
Bio Clean Fuel One of South Jersey's biggest cash crops may soon move from the kitchen table to your car's fuel tank. Gov. James E. McGreevey, standing Tuesday before dozens of area farmers and rows of corn at a Mickleton farm, pledged the state's support for a planned $60 million ethanol plant in South Jersey.
The Bio plant tunnel provides safe protection and a natural microclimate for tender young plants. Setting it up couldn't be easier or more effortless. in steel hoop means the bio plant tunnel can always be adjusted to the right size. And once fo
Earth Bio Fuel The plant, which would convert corn into a fuel additive that reduces auto emissions, would be the first in New Jersey as well as the entire mid-Atlantic region.
The earlier comment about bio fuels being an issue is correct. We are seeing it now that the price of corn has gone up dramatically..why. Ethanol production and the fact that those producing will pay higher price for corn than feedstock owners will. Guess what. your food prices will eventually skyrocket.! cattle, pork, chickens etc.
Bio Flight Fuel Green Jb100 "New Jersey farmers are looking for a partner," McGreevey said. "Our goal is to be that partner, to work collaboratively with you."
Your first few tanks of the new ethanol based gasoline, may loosen and remove contaminates into your fuel system.
Bio Bio Fuel Less More Waste The proposed plant is expected to produce 40 million gallons of ethanol annually. It also would make 121,000 tons of distiller grains to be sold as livestock feed and 121,000 tons of carbon dioxide that would be sold to the carbonated beverage or dry ice markets.
(AXcess News) The US Environmental Protection Agencyis proposing to apply the same air permitting requirements for facilities that produce ethanol for fuel or human consumption. Ethanol, burning renewable fuel, can be used to meet the requirements of the Renewable Fuels Standard Program, which is designed to reduce dependence on foreign oil by doubling the use of vehicle fuels from American crops by 2012.
Make Bio Fuel McGreevey said state officials are working to obtain federal assistance for the project. Other financial assistance also is being sought from the state's Economic Development Authority, the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority and the Delaware River & Bay Authority.
Even the energy stored in fossil fuels originated as energy from the Sun, captured by plants and animals millions of years ago.

Fuel Cell Bio An ethanol plant not only would help farmers find a new market for their corn, but also is expected to create 40 jobs.
Bio Conversion Fuel McGreevey said the state could choose a site for the plant by March. Salem County is considered a front-runner for the plant.
Green Energy Peter J. Furey, executive director of the New Jersey Farm Bureau, hopes the plant is completed by the end of next year.
Bio Ethanol Fuel "If we can break ground by the first quarter of next year, it'll take 12 months to build," Furey said.
Bio Clean Fuel Owen Pool, an East Greenwich resident who farms 250 acres, said an ethanol plant would be a boon for farmers and the environment.
Earth Bio Fuel A nearby plant also would save area farmers considerable amounts in trucking costs, Pool added. Presently, many farmers truck much of their grain to a mill in Maryland for processing, he said.
Bio Flight Fuel Green Jb100 Pool said the presence of an ethanol plant also may prompt many growers to switch their crops to corn.
Bio Bio Fuel Less More Waste Jim Etsch, a Middlesex County farmer and chairman of the Garden State Ethanol Board, said corn prices now average about $2.20 per bushel, excluding transportation costs. A new regional ethanol plant is expected to raise corn prices between 5 cents and 15 cents per bushel, he said.
Make Bio Fuel Etsch said ethanol is typically blended with refined gasoline in a 10-percent mix. Blends can be as high as 27 percent ethanol.

Fuel Cell Bio Currently, many gasoline refiners add MTBE, or Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether, to reformulated gasoline to produce a cleaner-burning fuel as required by law. But MTBE is a carcinogen and has contaminated thousands of groundwater sources across the country.
Bio Conversion Fuel Ethanol has twice the oxygen content of MTBE and is considered a safer, renewable fuel source.
Green Energy Etsch said efforts have been under way for more than four years to build an ethanol plant in New Jersey.
Bio Ethanol Fuel John Rigolizzo, a Berlin Township farmer and president of the state Farm Bureau, called the proposed plant "a win- win-win for the state."
Bio Clean Fuel "Farmers gain a new market for the corn used to produce the clean-burning fuel additive," he said. "The environment gains a viable alternative to MTBE, a source of concern for water pollution. And New Jersey residents benefit in two ways - from the cleaner environment and a guarantee of preserved open space."
Earth Bio Fuel Etsch said New Jersey farmers grow about 10 million bushels of corn annually.
Bio Flight Fuel Green Jb100 The proposed ethanol plant would require 14.2 million bushels annually to produce 40 million gallons. Corn to supply the plant also would come from farmers in Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland.
Bio Bio Fuel Less More Waste What's ethanol?
Make Bio Fuel Ethanol is an alcohol-based alternative fuel produced by fermenting and distilling starch crops that have been converted into simple sugars. Feedstock for this fuel include corn, barley and wheat. Ethanol is most commonly used to increase octane and improve the emissions quality of gasoline.
