Algae In Fuel, Will Artifical Trees Solve Our Energy Woes?

Posted at 7/28/2008 3:00:00 AM

This was sent to me by my friend. Imagine how happy I was when I read it, it convey an ideal image of algae in fuel.

The classic situation is how we percept those things we are looking for. I like simple knowledgeable short articles. They are really satisfied my curiosity.

Posting by Jonathan Williams on Jul 27th, 2008 2008 Jul 27 The potential for algae based fuel is incredible. Take a look at this: …replacing all the petroleum fuel in that country with algae fuel would require 40,000 sq/km of land… or roughly the size of Maryland. "That country" refers to the US if you were wondering. Once again, I can't stress enough how impressive the potential for algae based fuel is. - Click Here for whole story ..keep reading.

Split Between First-Gen and Algae May be More Important Than Corn

Posted at 7/25/2008 4:55:00 PM

I am over conscientious; I tend to overvalue others' opinions of myself today. Sometimes, reading a good post on algae in fuel may create good image of what it is really going on.

I force myself to pass some of my favorite posts, oh, for me it is really difficult, they are my treasure. Should I share my "treasure"? Maybe a little bit:

Algae are being researched and developed as a major source of fuel. It's being given serious consideration by scientists and engineers, along with U.S. Dept. Of Energy, Honeywell, GE, Chevron, and other oil companies. It would be much more effective than what's being used in biofuels. Algae have oil content of up to 50%, a number unheard of in cellulose-based fuel derivatives like corn, soybeans, and sugar ..>>.

This will amaze you, but alas, it is true. Read the rest of this entry »

Algae May be More Important Than Corn, Split Between First-Gen

She showed us this algae in fuel. It was amusing for a little while. Now it seems so ancient.

When we discover, as most of us do, how little our precious possessions will fetch in the marketplace we are inclined to be disillusioned, event to feel that we are being updated.

The Royal College of Art (RCA) in England has come up with the concept car designs that not only look great, but are also eco-friendly. One car is made of nothing more than aerodynamic glass, while another resembled a Split Chassis Red Rocket. The cars have fuel efficient electric engines, and are composed of materials that are ultra-light, and even function with driver-less navigation systems; the RCA's 2008 line of concept cars is quite amazing and intriguing. These concept vehicles ..>>.

You haven't seen something like this, I guarantee.... Today you can also get these bio diesel fuel in mind like I did.

As I bashed lunch for twenty people, when only seven were expected, an old school friend of mine hissed that what she wanted to read. So here is my favorite part:

Making Gas Mileage Comparisons - Staying Fuel Efficient   by Dean Forster   Deciding a vehicle at this time in the economy is one of the best things you can do to keep everything fuel efficient. If you want to make sure that you find the best deals, than one of the places to start is by making gas mileage comparisons. There are several places that you can look to see exactly how much you would spend with different makes and models, all which will provide you with a more .. read the rest part.

Yes, ULSD fuels have a lower BTU value and thus when burned in a diesel engine will result in less power. Cetane enhanced products can offset this power loss. Cetane is a high energy compound that makes the fuel burn more completely in the combustion chamber, resulting in more power, reduced emissions, and improved fuel economy. Power Service diesel additives contain "+ Cetane Boost" to offset this power loss while also improving fuel economy and reducing emissions.
