The BPU may press for laws to bar towns from hiking property taxes on homes with solar panels, a situation that has hurt solar programs in other states, officials said.

Bio Flight Fuel Green Jb100 Yesterday's event got Whole Foods shopper Joe Stanziani thinking about solar panels for his home in Jersey City. The estimated $24,000 price (before rebate) worried him less than possible wear and tear on his roof.

Bio Bio Fuel Less More Waste "Coming from Hudson County, I'm somewhat pessimistic," said Stanziani, a school psychiatrist. "But I'm all for clean energy. In this area, with all the pollution of the waterfront, it's nice to see a company interested in protecting our environment. It's a good thing."
